New City Moving 2016 Recap

With 2016 drawing to a close, we, at New City Moving, wanted to take a moment to recap another year spent serving the city we love. No matter how the past 12 months have been for you, we hope you were able to find happiness in both the small details and the big picture.

For us, it was another outstanding year for customer service. We continued to grow as a company and kept raising the bar for our clients one move at a time. In fact, we performed 12% more moves in 2016 than in 2015! We also broke ground on our new Chicago headquarters. Construction is well underway and our new home is expected to open in Spring of 2017. We staffed up with our strongest sales team ever and managed to garner more than 1,850 reviews on Yelp thanks to our exemplary crews. We also launched our new website making it even easier to request free estimates quickly. We promise to continue innovating to make moving affordable, stress-free, and easy for Chicago and the suburbs in 2017 and beyond!

Some of the biggest highlights didn’t come from moving but from giving back to the community through volunteer work at the Lincoln Park Community Center and a Christmas toy drive benefiting low income families in Humboldt Park. These activities are always some of our favorite throughout the year.
